Virginia Edelson is the founder and principal of Bluebird Productions. She moved to Aspen, Colorado after graduating from the University of Virginia in 2006. Originally drawn to Aspen for its winter ski season, Virginia quickly fell in love with the summer and autumnal months, as well as the amazing activities, food, and culture Aspen has to offer. She calls her hometown “the perfect mix of a small town with big city amenities.” After two years of playing in the snow as a ski instructor, she worked at The Little Nell as a Catering Sales and Events Manager where she developed a sharp attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and a high standard for providing the utmost quality of service for each of her clients – all of which would lead her to found her own wedding and special events production company. Virginia lives in Old Snowmass, just 20 minutes from downtown Aspen with her husband, two children: two-year old Zach and infant Elizabeth, and avalanche rescue dog.
Christine moved to Aspen in 2010 to pursue her dreams of event planning. After graduating from New York University with a degree in hospitality, she was ready to start working in the “real world.” Starting her career as a Catering Coordinator with the Aspen Skiing Company, and then moving to the Hotel Jerome as a Catering Sales Manager her passion for events continued to grow. Joining the Bluebird team brings such excitement and inspiration as the events showcase the creativity of both our clients and team. When not planning events, Christine enjoys playing with her dogs, running and hiking in our beautiful valley.
Jill grew up in New York and has lived in many cities throughout the U.S. before settling in Aspen in 2010. Aspen is by far her favorite place to call home. She shares her home with her 2 children, Jack and Chloe, her husband Richard and her puppy Lollie. She enjoys being a part of the small Aspen community and has transitioned to a career in event planning after managing her family and a career as a dietician.
Event planning has given her the opportunity to connect with people and help and plan for the most exciting times of their lives. Jill has a passion for health and fitness and anything outdoors. In her free time, Jill loves to hike, exercise, be a soccer mom and enjoys spending time with her family.
Janie is the rare Aspen native! She joined the Bluebird team summer of 2014 as an intern, left for sunny California for the winter, and returned never to leave again. Her bubbly and warm personality make her a joy to be around in the office, at events or out and about in Aspen. Janie loves horses, photography, fashion and this adorable town we call home.
